After going to the grocery store and spending way more money than I should have, but that’s usually how it is every single time I go, we decided to make a homemade pizza, due to the fact that we now had no money to go out to eat to help celebrate my aunt’s birthday party.. Sorry Shelia, I still love you and Happy Birthday!

For the pizza, the hubby and I decided to use my bread maker to make fresh dough. This is the one thing that I hadn’t tried yet and it turned out damn good. Just wish it wouldn’t take an hour and a half to make, I can be pretty impatient when it comes to food. I can also use the same recipe for the dough to make fresh pasta, so yep that’s gonna happen real soon as well.

         Ingredients

  • Pizza sauce
  • Pepperoni
  • Salami
  • Ham
  • Banana peppers

I baked in a 325° oven for about 25 minutes. I’m sure I could have bumped the temp up a bit but I wanted to cook slow and make sure it cooked the dough all the way through.

             Looks pretty darn good huh?

Since none of my family like black olives, I always have to put them over to the side. Maybe next time I’ll just add them to half of the pizza.

After eating only one slice, I was stuffed and ready for bed. It was about 9:30 when I headed to bed, yep I know it was a Saturday night, but I’m an old woman lol!!! What’s next on the menu you ask?? Come back later this evening to see the Seafood Chowder that I will be preparing. I’m so excited to try this out!!

Til next time,
