If you’re a meat and potato kind of person, then this dish is perfect for you. Don’t hesitate any longer, try my One Pot Shepherd’s Pie and see for yourself what you have been missing out on.

I have always heard good things about Shepherd’s Pie, but never had tried it until recently. My husband is the one I was a little nervous about trying, but he tries anything and everything I make. So when I asked him if he would like to try Shepherd’s Pie, he was like, “What’s in it?”. I informed him that it was a meat and potato dish and he should definitely like it, cause come on, who doesn’t like meat and potatoes.

He agreed to me making it and boy I was pretty excited. Now if only my boys were excited like I was to try it. 🙂
It turned out amazing and so so so good. I think the cheese is what put it over board. Anything with cheese has to be good, right?

Also anything that you can cook in one pot always makes your life a little easier as well. I love my dutch oven. It has come in handy so many times with my one pot meals.

Then top with mashed potatoes. You can use leftover mashed potatoes or make up a fresh batch. I made these potatoes while I was waiting for the ground beef and veggies to cook up.

Top with a little more cheddar cheese and put in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes.

You may have some excess grease in the bottom, but it will be just fine. Just eat it up and enjoy!!

Now wasn’t that easy as pie! 🙂
