Salisbury Steaks is what’s for dinner!



​Dinner was a big success tonight. The first time I have made Salisbury Steaks and they turned out really good, but really, it isn’t that hard to make. Most of the ingredients you probably have in your cabinets, I know I did. The only thing I had to buy was the hamburger and 2 packages of brown gravy mix. So let’s get started on this easy as pie meal, the only meals that every mom should know, we don’t have time for anything other than easy. “Ain’t no one got time for that”


Bon appetit!! For sides I made mashed potatoes and a bacon ranch pasta salad.

Salisbury Steaks

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Salisbury Steaks


  • 1lb hamburger meat
  • 1/3 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbls Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 medium White onion


  1. Combine all ingredients in with hamburger, mix well.
  2. Patty out and add to pan on medium high heat.
  3. Brown both sides of patties and then add sliced onion.
  4. For the gravy add the 2 packets with 2 cups of boiling water. Add a dash of Worcestershire and ketchup.
  5. Pour over patties and allow to simmer until gravy heats throughout
