Sesame Peanut Butter Noodles.. #sesame #peanut #noodles

This is a very simple and delicious noddle recipe to throw together for lunch or a side dish with some sushi or any Chinese food.. I’m a big noodle fan, they don’t even need anything on them, I will eat them plain with a little salt or Parmesan cheese. When it comes to Chinese noodles, you can’t go wrong tho.

So Saturday I had put a deer roast in the crock pot at 9am, this was being prepared for dinner. I thought I could wait it out until later that evening to eat but by 1pm I was getting pretty hungry. The hubby warmed up some left over bacon mac & cheese, so that didn’t help with my food cravings. I wanted something simple and not too fulfilling, cause boy I wanted some roast and mashed potatoes for sure. I look thru the fridge and cabinets to see what I could throw together real quick, this is what I came up with.

Sesame Peanut Butter Noodles

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Sesame Peanut Butter Noodles

  • 6 - 8 oz. of your favorite noodles, I used fettuccine noodles
  • 2 tbsp. pure sesame oil
  • 1½ tbsp. peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1½ tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • ½ tsp. ginger root
  • Optional Garnish: sesame seeds and sriracha

  1. Cook and drain the noodles.
  2. In a medium bowl, add the sesame oil, peanut butter, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Whisk until well combined. The peanut butter should completely break down to create a smooth sauce.
  3. Pour the sauce over the hot noodles. Toss to coat.
  4. Optional: top serving with ½ teaspoon of sesame seeds and if you like sriracha.
