First snow day of the year!!!! The snow started yesterday afternoon and went throughout the night, not alot of snow but alot of ice and enough snow to make it hard for me to get up the hill and go to work. I may have been able to make it, but I don’t want to risk my life or my car, which my poor car has been thru enough shit in the last 4 years. I finally got it dropped off to the repair shop today to get it fixed for when the last deer hit me a month ago. Got me a nice Nissan Sentra rental to drive, my insurance wouldn’t pay for a SUV, bastards. Lol

So since I’m a big ole chicken shit when it comes to snow, I stayed in the house where it’s warm and cozy, it’s a big 20° outside, and decided to make the most of my time and prepare another loaf of bread. This time I made Italian Bread and topped it off with some homemade Cream Cheese Garlic Butter. This butter made the bread that much better. Delicious!!

Ingredients for the butter:

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 stick of softened butter
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Dash of salt and pepper

Mix all together and BAM! u got some good ass butter!!!  All my breads are made in my bread maker, the easiest way to do it, I absolutely love my bread maker. So glad the hubby got it for me for Christmas a couple years ago. Tomorrow the plan is to make pizza dough for the first time, hope it turns out like all the loaves of bread have, which I’m sure it will.

Our neice, her husband and our nephew are coming out for the evening and wanted Justin (my hubby) to make some Hibachi food. Dinner will consist of rice, veggies, steak and chicken, Hibachi style. I’ll be sure and post pics of all the good food!! During the summer we usually fix all this on our flat top grill, so we will have to make due with making it all inside on the stove top tonight. It will still turn out to be a good feast indeed. It will be a good night to eat, laugh and have a few drinks.

Hope everyone has a good day, evening and night. Stay warm!!
