Most women are always wanting to stay up with the fashion trends whether it comes to shoes, clothes, jewelry, hair, it doesn’t matter, it’s just something women are supposed to do, right?

Well I guess you could say that I’m not most women then, more as a mother who tries her best to stay in tune with fashion. As a mother & wife, I don’t have the time or patience to keep up with it all. Nor do I have the money to spend on all trends, I’m a bargain shopper and usually only buy something from the clearance racks. You can find some really good deals on clearance as well, I think I got all the boys clothes for Christmas from clearance sales. 🙂  You gotta do whatcha gotta do to survive! 🙂

Anyway, this Ombre hair crave that is going around. Do I want my hair like this, YES! Do I want to spend the money to get it done, NO! Do I want to sit in a chair for 3 hrs, NO!  But why would I spend the money on doing this when its already happening to my hair.  Last week my aunt had asked me if I had my hair done again cause it looked lighter, I was like, “Nope, I’m trying for the Ombre look”. lol This morning while getting ready I looked at my hair closely and was like, “holy crap woman do something with your hair”. But why should you Trish, you are so in style now!

Last summer I went lighter with my locks, I have really dark hair and wanted something different so my beautician added caramels and blonde thru it to lighten it up. It looked so pretty and I was very pleased with it. As I said, that was back in the summer, heck may have been early spring. I have yet to go back and have my roots down so its a total mess. But with all the Ombre hair styles coming in fashion, I might as well keep it going how it is, cause a couple more months it will look like the pics above. lol   Let’s just say, I may never go back to light hair again cause its too much hassle. And if it comes down to me hating the Ombre look, I will head to WalMart and buy a box of color and do it at home.

So to all the moms that don’t have time, nor money, nor patience, nor the energy to go to the salon and sit for 2-3 hours, keep those roots growing, cause in about 6 months or so your hair will be in style like no other.

Enjoy the day! Merry Christmas!

Til next time,
